Hello there.
The Basics: I’m Julie. I live in New York City via Maine and Connecticut, but am a transplant from the Midwest. I’m married. To Drew. I have a dog. His name is Basil. I come from a big family. All girls. I’m the oldest. We live all over. Fun, but hard to get together. My parents raised me right. I don’t have kids, but if I did I would raise them like my parents raised me. I love to travel. I love to plan travel even more. In fact, I spent January 2011 in Asia and I want to visit 100 countries. I am an Excel addict. A list person. A checkbox person. I hate clutter. I throw things away a lot. I went to Kenyon College in Ohio. Loved it. Also got my MBA at Boston College. Got much better grades the second time around. I was born on a hippie commune (The Farm in Tennessee, if you happen to know a lot about communes). You would never guess it if you met me. But, you might guess it if you met my parents.
The Not So Basics: I am a big goal person. Every December, I make a crazy Excel spreadsheet that has my list of goals for the year (by Category, Work/Travel/Family/Friends/Hobbies/Finances). Then, I track my progress. By day, month and quarter. Here’s a part of my goal list for 2011.
I told you, it’s a little intense.
For my 29th birthday, I decided to finally bite the bullet and sign up for my very first e-course (Mondo Beyondo). You should take it to find out more, but the bottom line is that I finally made my very own Life List. As a goal person, this wasn’t too difficult because I had a lot of these ideas floating around for a long time.
I’ve decided to take my learnings one step further. I’m putting my Life List here, as well as other lists of things I want to work on in the hopes of improving my life and reinforcing good habits. On the side my intense love of travel also figures in, so that’s just icing on the cake.
Glad to have you on board.

I love, love, love your goal tracking – I can’t wait to read more!
